Alejandra Pastrana

Alejandra Pastrana is assistant professor at the University of Cádiz (Spain). She obtained her PhD at the same University, after gaining a state scholarship for the training of university teachers (FPU) for the preparation of her thesis, which culminated with outstanding cum laude and an extraordinary award. Her postdoctoral training has been developed eminently at the Carlos III University of Madrid (Spain), where she was postdoctoral researcher (Ministry of Universities - Next Generation EU Funds). She has carried out several research stays abroad, the most recent at the Juristische Fakultät- Humboldt Universität zu Berlin (2022). She is author of numerous publications related to terrorist crimes, drug trafficking and omission in international criminal law.
