越智萌 Megumi Ochi

Megumi Ochi is Associate Professor, Ritsumeikan University, Japan. She is a Member of the Young Penalist Committee of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP) from 2014 to 2019. She obtained her LL.M. at Leiden University (the Netherlands) and PhD in Law at Osaka University (Japan) and was Assistant Professor at the Kyoto University (Hakubi Center). She is involved in many international criminal justice activities. She is a Senior Fellow of Case Matrix Network (CMN) and she has interned at the Pre-Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) from April to September 2012. She wrote many articles on international criminal law, including the issues of concept of international criminal procedure, general principles of international criminal law, ne bis in idem principle, amnesty, extradition, and reparation.
